"ROSSETI" electricity company completed the main stage of the integrated reconstruction of a double-circuit 220 kV overhead line "Lipetsk - Kazinka" with a length of over 19 km. During the reconstruction all structures and equipment (supports, foundations) were completely replaced and tension of the wire and installation of a lightning protection cable – carried out. The cost of works amounted to more than 710 million rubles. The project will provide an additional 239 MW of power to residents of the Lipetsk SEZ. Thus, the volume of power generated by the Lipetsk SEZ will increase from 28 to 267 MW.

Alexander Bazaev was appointed Deputy General Director of SEZ "Lipetsk", Director of the Center for the Development of Investment Potential of the Lipetsk region.

The international portal Investment Monitor compiled a rating of special economic zones around the world, which evaluated the strategies of sustainable development of SEZs and the effectiveness of support measures in the context of the global crisis.

Today at the SEZ Lipetsk Business Center, heads of 120 large enterprises and organizations, representing all sectors of the regional economy, met with the Lipetsk region governor Igor Artamonov for discussion of the results of recent work and prospects for further development.

The head of the region Igor Artamonov met today at business breakfast with representatives of the Association of European business and SEZ "Lipetsk" residents, discussing prospects for cooperation and stages of development of the special economic zone.

A strategic session dedicated to ESG principles and sustainable development took place at the SEZ "Lipetsk". "The Lipetsk region will support the global principles of environmental, social and corporate governance", – greeted the guests of the event the head of the regional administration Igor Artamonov.

The rating of "Investment activity of the regions" for July 2021 was presented by the "Invest-Forsight" business-magazine. (The rating is based on reports about the investment projects launched and implemented in the Russian regions).

Today the governor of the Lipetsk region Igor Artamonov together with the Special Economic Zone CEO Roman Petrukhin and Oleg Prozorov, the head of the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, gave the official start to the construction of the bead wire production shop at the Bekaert Lipetsk plant.

Companies and industrial sites which made a special contribution to the development of the regions and their investment attractiveness were given special awards in Moscow.

A trilateral agreement has been signed between the Lipetsk region administration, the management company of the special economic zone "Lipetsk" and the company FONDITAL for the development of production and construction of a new foundry. In the near future the company plans to cast sections in aluminum under pressure. A respective agreement was signed at the International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM.
