The Investment Development Agency of Lipetsk Region (IDA) continues to structure the investment potential of the region's municipalities.
Agency’s specialists recently held a working meeting with Nikita Solovyov, Head of the Volovsky District Administration, on vacant sites and areas that may be of interest to potential investors.
On the territory of the district there are lands that can be used for the construction of a greenhouse complex. Gas and power networks with sufficient spare capacity are connected to the land plots. According to the management of the district, the advantage of doing business here is also the fact that it is located far from big cities, in an environmentally clean place. Moreover, it borders on the Orel and Kursk regions, which broadens the range of consumers.
Volovo has sites for industrial and agricultural production. The district also offers ready-to-use assets to potential investors: a bakery and a hotel. The bakery ceased its operations, but the bakery equipment has been preserved and the building is in good condition.
As for the local hotel, it has been renovated and the district administration considers leasing the hotel. This project may be interesting due to the development of tourism. According to statistics, every year on memorable dates more than 20 thousand tourists come to the height of "Ogurets" and to the festival "Serbolov stan".
Nowadays, Volovo authorities are busy attracting not only investors, but also newcomers. Local program allow land grants with utilities for individual housing construction or farming. The package of documents and conditions for receiving land are minimal.
"Visit to the Volovsky district turned out to be very meaningful. Together with the municipal authorities we have big joint plans in developing new projects and popularizing the district both among investors and the entire region," said Mikhail Putilin, head of the regional development department of the Investment Development Agency of the Lipetsk region.
