A delegation from the Republic of Türkiye visited the Lipetsk region with a business mission. Among representatives of industrial corporations and companies related to energy were POMSAD - Association of leading Turkish manufacturers of pumping, valve equipment and accessories; Dalgakiran Holding (major Turkish manufacturer of industrial compressors with sales in 100 countries) as well, Mirmek Construction.
Trade, economic relations and the investment potential of both sides were discussed at a meeting with the governor of the Lipetsk region Igor Artamonov, the management of investment and innovation department, the regional Agency for Investment Development, special economic zone industrial-production type "Lipetsk". Igor Artamonov also presented the region's opportunities in terms of investment competitive advantages.
"Worth mentioning is our considerable and successful experience in working with international business. Complex high-tech production projects of both Russian and foreign companies find everything for their development here - human resources, well-developed infrastructure, support of the authorities, preferential conditions and, of course, professional project administration", stressed the governor.
The main purpose of the Turkish visit is to work out mechanisms for promotion of export-import with Lipetsk region, which means new approaches to the development of business and export potential in the current economic reality, assess new logistics routes, geographical guidelines for finding partners.
"Judging by the results of discussions, we have good prospects", said Gokhan Sezer, General Secretary of POMSAD Association of Turkish Manufacturers of Pump, Valve Equipment and Accessories.
"The Republic of Türkiye and Russia have been successfully cooperating for a long time in many areas. We see opportunities for expanding the boundaries of this partnership. We are ready to offer not only favorable platforms for business, but also benefits, preferences and project support", said Alexander Bazaev, Director of the Investment Development Agency of the Lipetsk region.
Organization of the business-mission became possible due to the support of the Association "Russian-Turkish Dialogue". In June within the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum an agreement on cooperation in bilateral investments was signed between the Lipetsk Region and the Association. The document provides for the growth of industrial potential, implementation of joint projects, business missions, seminars and forums.
"As a result of the meeting held today with the Governor Igor Artamonov, Turkish business expressed a great interest in building business communications with the Lipetsk region in absolutely different formats. It was quite an effective dialogue with a lot of opportunities", said the member of the board of "Russian-Turkish Dialogue" Association Maria Suvorovskaya.
