The International training for regional Investment Agencies and Development Corporations on the platform of agencies INVEST IN TÜRKIYE and INVEST IN ISTANBUL is taking place in the Republic of Türkiye.
The training, organized by the National Association of Investment and Development Agencies, is arranged at the initiative of the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Trade in cooperation with the Russian Ministry of Economic Development.
In addition to training modules, the participants are invited to an industrial tour of the Ikitelli Special Economic Zone, the ITU Teknokent Center for Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
In Türkiye the Lipetsk region, together with the SEZ "Lipetsk" and the Regional Investment Development Agency, is represented by Deputy Director of the Agency Elena Sushkova. The presentation includes information on the system of attraction and support of investments, as well as on the investment portal and investment map of the Lipetsk Region.
"Since 2002, Türkiye has made a real leap in attracting direct investment, created a clear and comprehensive system of working with the projects and has risen by more than 60 points in the world ranking of Doing Business. Our Turkish colleagues have presented in detail their best practices in digitalization, development of investment ecosystems, improvement of relevant legislation. We discussed cooperation opportunities and current challenges in investor relations. Studying advanced standards in creating a favorable investment environment and implementation of best practices in the region today is especially important and is one of the main tasks of the Investment Development Agency of the Lipetsk Region," said Elena Sushkova.
