Before assignment, Aleksander Bazaev worked as a Deputy Director General of the Special Economic Zone, occupying the position of Director of the Center for Development of Investment Potential of the Lipetsk Region, responsible for interaction with diplomatic, trade representations and for strategic tasks of attracting investors both to the region and to the Federal SEZ Lipetsk.
Aleksander Bazaev was born in Lipetsk. He graduated from the Economics Faculty of the Lipetsk State Technical University (LSTU) with a degree in "Organization Management"; got a business mini-MBA education. He is an associate professor at the Economics Faculty of the home University.
For 10 years Aleksander coordinated interaction with GR in Sberbank, development of small and medium-sized businesses.
Roman Petrukhin, who previously served as General Director of the Lipetsk SEZ, is appointed deputy governor of the Lipetsk region.
