On 27 June, the Lipetsk Special Economic Zone will host a time capsule ceremony dedicated to the beginning of yet another construction project. Rustark, the new factory, will process wheat into starch products and biopolymers.
The facility is built as part of a long-term investment plan to establish an advanced industrial cluster to manufacture biopolymers and bio components that are in demand both nationally and internationally for the production of environmentally friendly and recyclable plastics.
The event will include an R&D conference on the prospects of the biopolymer industry, and a time capsule ceremony to be attended by regional officials.
