On April 25, 2016 Mr. Ulrich Bettermann flew to Lipetsk to oversee how OBO team in Lipetsk Special Economic Zone are going through the wrap-up preparations for the factory launch scheduled for the upcoming September.
OBO Bettermann Production LLC involved into cable routing and fire protection equipment manufacturing has been Lipetsk SEZ tenant since December 2014.
Mr. Bettermann, a qualified pilot, personally steered the OBO corporate jet from Menden (Germany) to Lipetsk airport.
Straight from the airport Mr. Bettermann headed to the Lipetsk Regional Administration Office, where he most warmly welcomed by Lipetsk Governor Oleg Korolev and discussed the possible arrangements for the factory opening ceremony.
After the meeting Mr Bettermann tripped to Lipetsk Special Economic Zone area where he assessed the pace of the completing works now in progress before the factory is launched in September. The cost of the project is estimated at 870mln.rub.
Later that day Mr. Bettermann planted a lime tree as a traditional contribution to the SEZ alley of Honoured Guests.
