Representatives of relevant agencies, industrial companies and higher educational institutions were invited to a business meeting on the issues and problems of personnel training for the regional enterprises, which was organized in the framework of the Forum of Engineering and Production Technologies on the territory of special economic zone "Lipetsk".
The event was opened by the Vice-Governor Olga Beloglazova, who said that the issue of human resources for local enterprises is under serious control both at the regional and federal levels. The top of the most demanded working professions are: electric and gas welders, computer operators, maintenance mechanics, crane / excavator / pump operators, electricians. Nevertheless, the unemployment rate in the region remains low. According to the statistics, only 2,5 thousand unemployed are registered in the Employment Service.
General Director of SEZ "Lipetsk" Roman Petrukhin communicated how the special economic zone residents solve staffing issues. As of today, more than five thousand highly qualified specialists work on the SEZ sites in Gryazi and Elets. The issue of staff recruitment for the SEZ has always been and remains a priority.
"Today the attractiveness of the region is estimated, among other factors, from the point of view of attracting investments. From our experience, all potential residents immediately ask about situation with human resources. And the answer to this question should be clear and positive: in addition to the developed infrastructure, tax benefits, it is important that the future enterprises will have enough employees”.
The system of investment projects support in SEZ "Lipetsk" includes interaction with the Employment Center on personnel recruitment with reference to the required vacancies, monitoring and forecasting of personnel needs in the Lipetsk region, targeted training of specialists in partnership with specialized educational institutions.
Since the beginning of 2022, 23 excursions, seminars, intellectual games and Olympiads were organized for schoolchildren and students in SEZ, 67 students of higher educational institutions were interned at the plants. The residents work on attracting potential employees as well: one of the companies has repaired, fully equipped a chemistry laboratory at the Lipetsk State Technical University and equipped a chemistry classroom for interactive learning at the Lipetsk Lyceum No. 12. The residents specialists give lectures to students. Thus, a large number of young people have already decided on their future place of work.
