At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum another favorable investment agreement was signed for the Lipetsk region. The partnership was concluded between the region and the company "Petexpert".
The document on the implementation of the investment project was signed by Igor Artamonov, Governor of the Lipetsk region, and Dmitry Tsypin, General Director of LLC "Petexpert". The agreement provides for the creation of cat and dog food production on the territory of the Elets site of the special economic zone "Lipetsk" and will allow to create 50 working places in the Elets district.
"This is a significant import-substituting investment project. We will monitor the level of technologies and environmental friendliness of the future production", said Igor Artamonov.
The amount of investments will be 1.1 billion rubles. The construction is planned for 2023, the launch of production – in 2024. The project involves the production of specialized fodder, including premium, with the maximum production volume at the first stage - 20,000 tons per year.
Among the main tasks of the project: replacement of imported products and maximum provision of consumers with internally produced animal feed, localization of production of foreign brands present in the Russian market, organization of competitive jobs, creation of a modern and environmentally friendly plant in the Lipetsk region, getting the best output and production cost indicators in the industry due to the high technology of the plant.
