The governor of the Lipetsk region, Igor Artamonov, and Maxim Zhalnin, CEO of the JSC "Oktyabrskoye", signed an investment agreement on the construction of two facilities in the region.
The document was signed at the stand of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia during SPIEF-2022.
The estimated investments into the construction of a class A+ logistics complex will amount to 2.3 billion rubles. It is planned to create 300 jobs.
"We are glad that the largest supplier of agricultural equipment is expanding in our region. The logistics cluster and the dealership center will reduce the costs of suppliers, retailers, farmers in the supply chain and, most importantly, ensure the interests of agricultural producers in the Lipetsk region and neighboring regions. All issues related to maintenance, repair and supply of agricultural machinery will be solved more quickly. We hope that the efficiency of agricultural production will increase," said Igor Artamonov.
A future logistics complex of class A+ means modern warehousing facilities and a low-temperature complex, equipped with the latest IT-solutions.
The Rostselmash dealer service center is expected to invest more than 350 million rubles and will allow to create up to 85 jobs.
JSC "Oktyabrskoye" is the largest supplier of agricultural machinery, mineral fertilizers and grain trader in the region. The company is the only certified dealer of Rostselmash in the Tambov and Lipetsk regions.
