Mr. PARK Robyug Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Russian Federation accompanied by the a group of Korean entrepreneurs staying on a two-day visit to the Lipetsk Region visited Lipetsk Special Economic Zone yesterday where they were acquainted with the system of state benefits and incentives offered to investors within the SEZ framework.
The group included a number of renowned Korean companies - Navien Rus, CJ Bio Rus, POSCO, AECOM, HTNS, Intraros, SD system, JS Trading and MS Leemon.
The Lipetsk Region Governor Oleg Korolev took part in the meeting. Lipetsk SEZ Managing company Director General Ivan Koshelev briefed the guests on the current status and the perspectives of the SEZ. “After the successful experience of developing the first SEZ stage in Gryazinskiy Municipal District the Managing company is soon commencing developing a new, yet a larger area 90 km closer to Moscow.”
At the Q&A session the guests were mostly interested in investment opportunities for production companies in the SEZ.
At the conclusion Mr PARK Robyug shared his positive impressions of the meeting with local mass media.
