Employees of SEZ "Lipetsk" congratulated veterans on Victory Day

On the eve of May 9, greetings, gratitude cards and food packages from SEZ "Lipetsk" are given to home front workers and concentration camp prisoners who live in the residential area Matyrsky in Lipetsk, as well as in the Eletsky district.

Among those who received congratulations is Muza Mikhailovna Terpugova. At the beginning of the Great Patriotic War she worked in the rear, in the backwoods of the Tomsk region. She worked in the field in the hayfield, gathering and procuring mushrooms, berries, pine nuts in the taiga, which were sent to the front. When the war ended, she moved to Sevastopol, married, then moved with her husband to Lipetsk. Musa Mikhailovna spent most of her life in the energy sector.

"The years of war hardened us and gave us courage. We knew that we should never give up. That's what I always told my son, and now I tell my grandchildren and great-grandchildren," said Muza Terpugova.

"Congratulations and gifts are the least we can do for veterans. Attention, any help, respect, endless gratitude for everything these people have done for us should accompany them every day. Regardless of whether May 9 is on the calendar or some other date," said Roman Petrukhin, General Director of SEZ "Lipetsk".
