October 20 2016, Lipetsk Special Economic Zone hosted a long-expected conference arranged by the Federal Customs Service of Russia. 22 special economic zones across the country joined in the discussion, some of them through video connection.

A panel of leading experts from the Federal Customs and the Ministry of Economic Development covered every aspect of the relevant amendments for the benefit of all the attendees. As was anticipated, Free Customs Zone mode adjustment raised most acute interest among the resident companies’ representatives and brought about most questions.
Mr. Ivan Koshelev, Director General of Lipetsk SEZ Managing JSC, said at the conference conclusion, since the number of operating investors grows day by day now it is of utmost importance that customs law innovations should be brought home to every SEZ participant.
