Belaya Dacha company has started land works for the construction of its new factory for production of French fries in Lipetsk SEZ

Belaya Dacha Lipetsk LLC (previously – Farm Frites Belaya Dacha) has recently broken ground for setting up a new production facility designed to produce French fries in Lipetsk special economic zone.
Building works are to be started in the next six months. Earlier in 2014 after EU imposed the first set of economic sanctions against Russia, a Dutch Farm Frites recalled its share of financial involvement into the project which had made for 30% of the gross investments. Another 35% came from European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and was cancelled likewise.
It still has not been revealed as to which investor took over, however, the company in question is rumoured to top the world list of French fries producers.
Belaya Dacha has announced $76 mln. of investments into the project which, as expected, will supply over 10 tons of half-prepared products for McDonald’s restaurant chain and big retailers.
Founded as a farming guild back in 1918, Belaya Dacha was later transformed into a collective farm which eventually grew into a public corporation that currently is a sole supplier of green salads for McDonald’s and an important partner for big retailing groups operating in Russia like Rosinter, Rostik’s-KFC», Auchan, X5 Retail Group, 7th Continent and others.
