On 5 December 2018, Igor Artamonov, Acting Governor of the Lipetsk Region, held talks with Orlando Napoli, President of Fondital S.p.a, and handed him an official document certifying that the company’s new plant manufacturing radiators and heating boilers was commissioned officially.
Fondital became the twenty-third tenant of the Lipetsk Industrial Special Economic Zone (Lipetsk SEZ).
The Italian plant occupies a 10 ha land plot in the economic zone. The investments in its construction amounted to RUB 1.3 billion, with 75 highly qualified jobs created.
Following the meeting, the management of Fondital S.p.a decided to build a new foundry in the Lipetsk SEZ. In his turn, Igor Artamonov thanked the investors for their confidence in the Lipetsk Region and promised to provide comprehensive support for the Italian project.
Currently, the Lipetsk SEZ hosts 62 companies from 16 countries. Lipetsk SEZ tenants in numbers:
