Specialists of the Investment Development Agency of Lipetsk region (IDA) continue to update the investment potential of the region. One of the IDA’s tasks is to help districts become attractive for business projects, so during the meetings with the heads of municipalities they discuss investment opportunities. Recently such working meeting was held in Dobrovsky district.
The local administration is ready to develop the tourist and entertainment complex "Zarechye", which was opened near Dobroe in 2018. It is located on the bank of the Voronezh River and is equipped with wooden cabins, summerhouses, barbecues, a stage for various events. During the summer, the complex is quite popular among locals and tourists, but the rest of the year it stays empty. The district administration is looking for businessmen, who would invest money and open public catering outlets, lay water supply and drainage networks.
Investors are also welcome to the village Zamartynje. There is a cascade of ponds, fed by underground springs, due to which the ponds are constantly filled with fresh and clean water. Now the authorities would like to find businessmen who will clear the main pond of sediments and revive fish farming.
Another profitable investment, according to the administration of Dobrovsky district, could be the development of the former pig farm territory in the village of Kalikino. Here all the necessary energy resources – water, gas, electricity – are available.
"Each district has really rich investment resources. Farmland, vacant buildings or land. All of these can benefit the local budgets as tax payments, creating jobs for residents. Our task is to find objects, offer them to investors, and then connect investors with the district administration. We expect that such project will affect the investment image of the region and allow to get a full picture of its business potential", said Alexander Bazaev, Director of the Investment Development Agency of Lipetsk Region.
By the end of August IDA employees will hold working meetings with the management of Leo Tolstoy and Dankovsky districts. All the objects will be included into a special register and on the investment map of the Lipetsk region, so that all those interested can get acquainted with their characteristics.
