A delegation from Honeywell International headed by its President of Global High Growth Regions Shane Tedjarati visited the Lipetsk Region.
The guests met Oleg Korolyov, Governor of the Lipetsk Region, and discussed the construction of the Company’s plant in the Lipetsk Special Economic Zone.
Oleg Korolyov thanked the investors for their confidence in the region. “American companies have been expressing their interest in investing in the Lipetsk Region since the mid 1990s. It would be safe to say that US producers are forming an industrial cluster in our region,” Korolyov said.
The parties discussed cooperation prospects. “The launch of our new production facility in the Lipetsk SEZ will contribute to the Company’s future growth on the Russian market and a broader support of our partners in the Eurasian Customs Union and other countries,” Shane Tedjarati underlined.
Honeywell International has established a new production site in the Lipetsk SEZ to manufacture electrical, automation and fire detection systems, gas detectors and PPE, with over 700 million rubles already invested in the project. The Company will create over 100 new jobs.
