After a year-lasting negotiations in 2020 the “Logistics Service Center” company, specialized in A-class storage facilities, initiates an investment project on a 6 hectares land plot in two stages: the first one – on 8,000 sq. m. for plant protection agents and seeds is to be completed within March, 2022, considering further extension to 23,000 sq. m. The overall output - is up to 12,000 pallets.

Leading by a significant margine, Lipetsk region is again in the first place in the rating of the business-magazine "Invest-Foresight" in December 2020. In December the business-magazine digest included 28 publications from the region.

On behalf of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, Maxim Reshetnikov congratulated the staff of the SEZ Lipetsk and personally the General Director Dmitry Dudarev on the second place in the IV National Rating of Investment Attractiveness of Special Economic Zones of Russia in 2020.

The company has an ambitious growth strategy and has initiated a study in order to expand its production capacity. Lamb Weston / Meijer, one of the world's leading potato producers, has strengthened its position on the frozen processed potato market in Russia by acquiring a controlling interest in an existing joint venture with the Belaya Dacha Group of Companies. The joint venture owns the largest factory producing French fries.

On December 21, 2005, the RF Government signed a Decree No. 782 “On creation of the industrial special economic zone on the territory of Gryazinsky district of the Lipetsk region”.

The methods and regulations for assessing the effectiveness of special economic zones of the Russian Federation, developed by order of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation was discussed in the Research Financial Institute of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation (NIFI of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation).

Digitalization in industrial zones and SEZs of Russia was discussed at the Lipetsk SEZ. The Lipetsk Special Economic Zone has become a meeting place for representatives of the Association of European Businesses and members of the Association of Industrial Parks of Russia. The participants of the business dialogue dedicated to the digitalization of industrial parks and SEZs discussed new trends and standards in the field of industrial construction, new software, modern requirements for infrastructure management on the part of investors.
