The international economic forum continues its work in St. Petersburg.
At the strategic session "Evolution of Innovation Infrastructure for New Economic Challenges" Natalia Popova, First Deputy Director General of Innopraktika company, noted that the key priority of the state policy today is the development of high-tech business. Innovative companies are taking over the function of import substitution drivers in the strategic industries, forming ecosystems capable to unite education, science, production, business and state.
Such formats, which also provide various benefits and preferences to business, are represented by special economic zones, the Skolkovo center, other innovative organizations that can develop technological startups and help implement unique scientific projects.
An example of efficient work of the SEZ was presented by Roman Petrukhin, the General Director of the special economic zone "Lipetsk", who spoke about the structure of the company, achievements, problematic issues, work with investors in conditions of economic sanctions.
"Basic infrastructure is the starting point for the development of any special economic zone today. First of all, it means the construction of roads and necessary engineering networks. Obviously, it is important to constantly move towards the trends of the future. One of our priorities is to build such an ecosystem that will meet all the needs of the residents, from staff recruitment to assistance in arranging supply chains. We have already achieved certain results and we continue working in this direction," emphasized Roman Petrukhin.
