On August 24, 2016 Lipetsk Special Economic Zone provided the venue for a very timely discussion – on cutting the red tape for the local entrepreneurs and lessening business exposure to administrative pressure. The forum “Safeguards For Business: the Keystone of the Region Success” was attended by a large number of business executives and officials representing the state bodies that business mostly deal with in its daily operations along with professional associations and public unions members. The region Governor and the regional business ombudsman were co-chairing the meeting.
In a series of lively panel discussions the participants addressed many aspects of state-business relations, fiscal policies, inspections frequencies, raising the efficiency of cooperation between business and state bodies.
“Today, in the austere conditions of the slow recovery from the economic crisis we have to do our best to support local manufacturers who contribute to this recovery most” – said Mr Ivan Koshelev, SEZ Lipetsk JSC CEO, in his final interview. “This kind of events is very opportune and show how deeply both sides are interested in improving relations and facilitating real economy sector” – he added.
