A webinar on "Special Economic Zones: the Potential of Cooperation between Russia and China 2.0" was organized by the "Business Russia" Public Association together with the Department for Foreign Investment Promotion of the Chamber of Commerce on import and export of machine-building and electronic products of China.
The Special Economic Zone "Lipetsk" was presented by Elena Sushkova, Deputy Director of the Investment Development Agency of the Lipetsk region.
"Our region is an excellent launching platform for the development of international investment projects. Given the leading position of the Lipetsk region in industry and food production, partnership with Chinese suppliers of sophisticated technological equipment is of great importance today. Relations with Chinese business remain our priority. Several Chinese production facilities have already been successfully localized in the Lipetsk region. The region and the special economic zone "Lipetsk" can offer Chinese companies optimal conditions for development in the Russian market, for a quick start and effective work", Elena Sushkova addressed to the participants of the webinar.
It was also mentioned the high competence of SEZ specialists in interaction with the existing residents and potential investors. The Management company will celebrate its 16th anniversary in 2022. As of today, 58 resident companies from 16 countries are successfully implementing their manufacturing projects on Gryazi and Elets sites.
"On our territory of 2,300 hectares we guarantee all necessary energy resources. We act as a single coordinating center for technological and administrative support of our residents' projects," said Elena Sushkova.
