The SEZ "Lipetsk" Management company is preparing to celebrate its birthday in August 2022. In 2005 the decision to create special economic zones in Russia was taken at the level of the Federal Government. As a result, the first special industrial economic zones were opened in Lipetsk and in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Our SEZ "Lipetsk" started with a glass factory, after which dozens of companies, representing various sectors – from the production of thermal power equipment to coffee processing – grew up on the Gryazi and Elets sites.
- The SEZ can be called an almost perfect infrastructure with communications, good roads, care about the environment and a team of professionals who are ready to help residents at all stages of production. We have an energy potential of more than 200 MW of vacant electric capacity, construction competencies at the level of the highest international standards, a full range of engineering services.
Tax and customs privileges and lowering coefficients when renting or buying out land for plant construction are available for the residents. The average time to set up a new production facility is a year and a half.
If we turn to numbers, SEZ "Lipetsk" currently has 58 residents, more than 5 thousand jobs. The volume of declared investments exceeds 220 billion rubles, the volume of invested investments - over 88 billion rubles. The volume of produced goods is more than 225 billion rubles.
By the report of the Ministry of Economic Development, submitted to the Russian Government in July 2022 and made on the results of special economic zones in 2021, SEZ "Lipetsk" was among the leaders in efficiency with a score of 97.7%. The monitoring took into account such indicators as residents' activity, profitability of investments of the federal and regional budgets in the creation of infrastructure, the activity of the management bodies and other parameters.
