The best students of the Lipetsk State Technical University visited the Lipetsk SEZ.
Representatives of the Management Company told them about the industrial site development and career opportunities offered by the tenants. While touring round the site, the students asked about the foreign investors’ requirements for job applicants, labor conditions and opportunities to be trained abroad.
After that Then they visited the facilities of Belgian tenant Bekaert. Since its establishment in 2010, the Bekaert Lipetsk has been producing steel cord for the automotive industry and Dramix steel fiber used in the construction sphere. A new galvanizing line was launched last year. The students were surprised to learn that the average age of Bekaert’s staff reached 31 years. Bekaert’s corporate policy supports the career advancement of its employees inside the Company. Many employees acquired additional professional skills and were trained at Bekaert’s plants abroad.
The students were grateful to the Lipetsk SEZ staff for the opportunity to see modern production facilities with their own eyes, make sure they can apply their knowledge in the Lipetsk Region and have an opportunity of career advancement in high-tech companies.
