LIFAN has opened its sales centre in Lipetsk

At the time when big carmakers like GM are hastily fleeing the country some Chinese automotive companies have already given up the Russian market leaving their disappointed consumers behind. With this a fact, LIFAN ambitions and achievements in Russia look even more remarkable.
Last year LIFAN sales grew by 40%, with even more striking 60% since January 2016 up to now. That kind of landslide win pushes the company to further struggle for Russian customers’ loyalty.
Our citizens today tend to be more practical than ever going for the best price-quality ratio, wide range of models, reliability and simple design rather than for overrated brand name.
Chinese cars today are indeed a far cry from what they used to be yet a dozen years ago. The service and sales policies have advanced greatly as well. At the opening ceremony of a new LIFAN sales and service centre in Lipetsk on May 26th 2016 everyone could feel the difference.
All of the six models offered for sale were available for test-drive. Those included small-looking but spacious enough inside Smily town-car, Lifan 820, similar in size to Toyota Camry, the undisputed CUV bestseller in Russia – Х60, now redesigned. The new flagship X80, that was recently unveiled in China, is very soon expected too.
The new owners will be entitled to the 5 years of guarantee after-sales service.
LIFAN Motors Rus CEO Mr Sun Zenjuin is a recognizable face in Lipetsk already. His Russian is next to perfect and Russian friends call him Victor. Mr Sun Zenjuin told the press that whenever in the city he starts his visit with inspecting a land site for LIFAN car factory in Lipetsk Special Economic Zone. All of the utility networks have been laid to the site by now and the company plans to break the ground for the plant towards the end of the year.
According to Victor, despite the financial slowdown the country is going through, the company will not abandon its initiative to build a new full-cycle facility for 60 000 cars per year. Lipetsk has already become another home city for LIFAN and local customers will be enjoying all the best offers and perks.
Lipetsk SEZ Director General Mr Ivan Koshelev in his speech confirmed that the first construction works for the factory at the SEZ premises are expected before the end of the year. “LIFAN has got it into the bull’s eye in Russia giving their clients exactly what they are looking for” - he said.
Mr Andrey Kozoderov, Deputy Governor of the Lipestk Region, pointed out that the whole of LIFAN automotive empire was started by its founder Mr Yin Min Shan as a repair workshop for motorbikes in 1992, which proves that the biggest wins always begins with a very small step. He expressed his confidence that Lipetsk Region has acquired an important strategic partner and with the support from the Lipetsk Government LIFAN will succeed in the Russian car industry even more.
This summer LIFAN has scheduled an exciting rally throughout the most beautiful nature attractions of the Lipetsk Region for the citizens to appraise the quality, reliability and other consumer properties of the LIFAN lineup.
Looking forward to it!
