The experts of the Investment Development Agency of Lipetsk region (IDA) continue to study the resources of the local municipalities at the working meetings, as they recently did with the heads of Dankov and Leo-Tolstoy.
For instance, in Leo-Tolstoy the Forsazh sewing factory is working quite successfully.
Being a structural subdivision of the well-known in Russia CJSC "Faraday", it has among its customers the Russian Ministry of Defense, Roscosmos, FSB, Russian Navy, and the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. The specified Leo-Tolstoy factory is ready to expand production, but there is a problem of staff shortage. To resolve the issue, representatives of the IDA offered assistance in finding specialists.
There are also enterprises in Dankov district that used to be part of the regional special economic zone. Participants of the working meeting discussed the possibilities for development of the sites. In addition, they touched the topic of domestic tourism: both municipalities intend to continue work in this direction.
"Such trips help us understand the potential not only of each district, but also of individual settlements located on the territory. All the facilities, indicated by the heads of municipalities, we register and plot on the investment map. Soon the map will be available to business community and relevant agencies. Any of the sites can be taken into operation," said Alexander Bazaev, Director of the Investment Development Agency of the Lipetsk Region.
