A strategic session dedicated to ESG principles and sustainable development took place at the SEZ "Lipetsk". "The Lipetsk region will support the global principles of environmental, social and corporate governance", – greeted the guests of the event the head of the regional administration Igor Artamonov.

The rating of "Investment activity of the regions" for July 2021 was presented by the "Invest-Forsight" business-magazine. (The rating is based on reports about the investment projects launched and implemented in the Russian regions).

Today the governor of the Lipetsk region Igor Artamonov together with the Special Economic Zone CEO Roman Petrukhin and Oleg Prozorov, the head of the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, gave the official start to the construction of the bead wire production shop at the Bekaert Lipetsk plant.

Companies and industrial sites which made a special contribution to the development of the regions and their investment attractiveness were given special awards in Moscow.

A trilateral agreement has been signed between the Lipetsk region administration, the management company of the special economic zone "Lipetsk" and the company FONDITAL for the development of production and construction of a new foundry. In the near future the company plans to cast sections in aluminum under pressure. A respective agreement was signed at the International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM.

The tripartite agreement was signed between the Lipetsk region Administration, General Director of the SEZ "Lipetsk" Roman Petrukhin and General Director of LLC "San Marco" Marco Marchese within the framework of the international industrial exhibition Innoprom-2021.

Anna Smolyaninova represents the Lipetsk region at the event. The main task of the forum is to find new effective cooperation forms for the successful transformation of economic processes.

Personnel training is an important aspect of interaction between SEZ "Lipetsk" and the Bunin Elets State University. In fact, the University has become a source of personnel for the special economic zone residents. By 2024 it is planned to train about 275 high-level specialists who would meet the requirements of the Elets area residents.

It is expected that two new-format employment centers will appear in Lipetsk and Elets by the end of the year. The region will join the pilot project for modernization of employment centers, where principle of work with both job seekers and employers will change. Employment centers should become modern recruitment agencies.

The main purpose of the event was to draw attention to children with Down syndrome and autism, as well as to inclusion projects and a culture of charity and tolerance in society.

The Forum united representatives of the Elets business community, public authorities, business support funds and banking structures.
